The present invention relates to the use of a solid composition of mixed oxides of the formula (I): Mo12WaBibFecCodNieSifKgSnhOx (I) wherein 0~a~5; 0.5~b~5; 0.1~c~10; 0.5~d~10; 0~e~10; 0~f~15; 0~g~1; 0~h~2; and x is the quantity of oxygen bonded to the elements Mo, W, Bi, Fe, Co, Ni, Si, K and Sn, and depends on their oxidation states, in the production of acrolein by oxidation of the propylene. The use of such a solid composition makes it possible to increase the selectivity for acrolein.

La présente invention porte sur l'utilisation d'une composition solide d'oxydes mixtes de formule (I): Mo12WaBibFecCodNieSifKgSnhOx (I) dans laquelle 0~a~5; 0,5~b~5; 0,1~c~10; 0,5~d~10; 0~e~10; 0~f~15; 0~g~1; 0~h~2; et x est la quantité d'oxygène lié aux éléments Mo, W, Bi, Fe, Co, Ni, Si, K et Sn, et dépend de leurs états d'oxydation, dans la fabrication de l'acroléine par oxydation du propylène. L'utilisation d'une telle composition solide permet d'augmenter la sélectivité en acroléine.
