A process for the production of alkaline metal salts and earth alkali metal salts of aryloxy-C1-C4-alkane carboxylic acids by reacting the basic aryloxy- C1-C4-alkane carboxylic acids with alkaline metal bases or earth alkali metal bases in the melt, by extruding a mixture of the aryloxy-C1-C4-alkane carboxylic acid and an at least stoichiometric quantity of an alkaline metal base or an earth alkali metal base, which are partially or completely converted in the reaction conditions into volatile substances. The invention also concerns the extrudates thus obtainable and the use of the extrudates which contain an aryloxy-C1-C4-alkane carboxylic acid with herbicidal action to combat undesired plant growth.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de sels de métaux alcalins et de sels alcalino-terreux d'acides carboxyliques aryloxy-alcane C¿1?-C¿4? par réaction des acides carboxyliques aryloxy-alcane C¿1?-C¿4? existant à la base, avec des bases de métaux alcalins ou des bases de métaux alcalino-terreux dans la matière fondue, par extrusion d'un mélange d'acide carboxylique aryloxy-alcane C¿1?-C¿4? et d'une quantité au moins stoechiométrique d'une base de métal alcalin ou d'une base de métal alcalino-terreux, qui sont converties partiellement ou en totalité en substances volatiles dans les conditions de réaction. L'invention concerne en outre les extrudats ainsi obtenus et l'utilisation des extrudats qui contiennent un acide carboxylique aryloxy-alcane C¿1?-C¿4? à effet herbicide, pour lutter contre la croissance indésirable de plantes.
