ABSTRACT An electrical battery pole or terminal is cold-produced by means of a process comprising axial compression at room temperature of an essentially cylindrical metal element between a first and a second portion of die and travelling one in respect to the other, of which the first forms that which will be the protruding part of battery pole or terminal and the second portion of die, by subjecting lower part of metal black to compression, achieves the electrical battery pole's lower part, which is provided with shaped portions achieving a number of ribs.
