The present invention relates to a process for the production of a cellulosic product which comprises providing an aqueous thick suspension containing cellulosic fibers having a fiber concentration of at least about 2% by weight; adding to the thick suspension an aluminum compound, alkaline earth metal salt and acid; diluting the obtained thick suspension to form a thin suspension; adding to the thin suspension one or more drainage and retention aids; and dewatering the obtained thin suspension. The invention further relates to a process for the production of a cellulosic product which comprises providing an aqueous thick suspension containing cellulosic fibers having a fiber concentration of at least about 2% by weight and an alkaline earth metal ion concentration of at least about 100 mg/l; adding to the thick suspension an aluminum compound and optionally an acid to obtain a pH of from about 4 to about 5.5; diluting the obtained thick suspension to form a thin suspension; adding to the thin suspension one or more drainage and retention aids; and dewatering the obtained thin suspension. The invention also relates to an aqueous composition comprising a mixture of an aluminum compound, alkaline earth metal salt and acid and the use of the composition.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de produit cellulosique qui consiste à : former une suspension aqueuse épaisse contenant des fibres cellulosiques possédant une concentration en fibres d'au moins 2% en poids; ajouter à la suspension épaisse un composé aluminium, un sel de métal de terre alcaline et un acide; diluer la suspension épaisse obtenue afin de former une suspension fluide; ajouter à la suspension fluide un ou plusieurs agents facilitant le drainage et la rétention; et assécher la suspension fluide obtenue. L'invention porte en outre sur un procédé de production de produit cellulosique qui consiste à : former une suspension aqueuse épaisse contenant des fibres cellulosiques possédant une concentration en fibres d'au moins 2% en poids et une concentration en ions d'un métal de terre alcaline d'au moins 100 mg/l; ajouter à la suspension épaisse un composé aluminium et, facultativement, un acide afin d'obtenir un pH compris entre environ 4 et environ 5,5; diluer la suspension épaisse obtenue afin d'obtenir une suspension fuide; ajouter à la suspension fluide un ou plusieurs agents facilitant le drainage et la rétention; et assécher la suspension fluide obtenue. L'invention se rapporte également à une composition aqueuse renfermant un mélange d'un composé aluminium, d'un sel de métal de terre alcaline et d'un acide, et à l'utilisation de ladite composition.
