4-0003-1018 Abstract A process for the preparation of a coating composition containing microcapsules comprising the steps of: (a) preparing an aqueous dispersion of microcapsules, (b) adding a flow control agent to said aqueous dispersion microcapsules, (c) applying heat and vacuum to said aqueous dispersion of microcapsules containing said flow control agent to remove water from said dispersion of microcapsules and thereby concentrate said dispersion of microcapsules, and (d) adding said concentrated dispersion of microcapsules to a printing ink vehicle to form a coating composition.
