- 2 - Abstract Flue gas gypsum having a free water content of 4% by weight and thereabove is dried in direct contact with a partial stream withdrawn from the primary stream of a dry-dedusted flue gas and is separated from this partial stream, which latter is then fed to the intake side or to the delivery side of the booster blower ar- ranged upstream of the flue gas desulfuration device, and the finely particulate flue gas gypsum is conducted from the drying device into the flue gas desulfurizing device.
