Abstract Dust-free plant protecting agent granules are prepared by a process, in which a) the carrier (core material) is initially introduced into an open mixer optionally with a reversible direction of rotation, b) the binder and coating material, which contains the plant protection agent, and if appropriate additives are then added, whilst mixing, and c) the mixture is then dried in the open mixer optionally with a reversible direction of rotation, a gas being passed in. The device for the production of the dust-free plant protection agent granules consists of a mixer optionally with a reversible direction of rotation, which is open on one or both sides and has feeding devices for granuoe carriers, fine-particled solids, binders and gas.
