A method for producing fatty acid alkyl esters, wherein a solution comprising triglyceride and alcohol is contacted with a first lipolytic enzyme having a relatively higher activity on free fatty acids than on triglyceride and a second lipolytic enzyme having a relatively higher activity on triglyceride than on free fatty acids.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire des esters alkyliques d'acides gras, qui consiste à mettre un triglycéride et un alcool en contact avec un premier enzyme lipolytique dont l'activité est relativement plus élevée sur les acides gras libres que sur le triglycéride et un second enzyme lipolytique dont l'activité est relativement plus élevée sur le triglycéride que sur les acides gras libres.
