A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROCARBON OIL DISTILLATES Distillates are produced from asphaltenes-containing hydro- carbon mixtures by a process comprising subjecting the hydrocarbon mixtures to a catalytic hydrotreatment, and subjecting the dis- tillation residue of the hydroconverted product to a combination of solvent deasphalting and thermal cracking.
