- 16 - A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROCARBONS Process for the production of hydrocarbons from a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, using a catalyst combination con- taining one or more metal components with catalytic activity for the conversion of an H2/CO mixture into acyclic hydrocarbons, e.g. Ru, Co, Fe and Ni, and as carrier a crystalline zeolite having a ZSM-5 structure. The catalyst is prepared by ion-exchange, followed by was- hing, drying and calcining. The reaction product predominantly consists of C5-C12 hydrocarbons.
