A B S T R A C T PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF LOW-ASPHALTENES HYDROCARBON MIXTURES Deasphalted oils and hydrocarbon oil distillates are produced from asphaltenes-containing hydrocarbon mixtures by a process comprising converting an asphaltenes-containing hydrocarbon mixture using a catalytic hydrotreatment into a product with a reduced asphaltenes content which is separated by distillation into one or more distillate fractions and a residual fraction, which is subjected to two-step solvent deasphalting.
