A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MOLDINGS OR FILMS ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to a process for preparing polyisocyanate polyadducts comprising reacting aromatic polyisocyanates; compounds having a molecular weight of 1800 to 12,000 and containing at least 2.5 isocyanate- reactive groups; and one or more components selected from a diamine containing two aromatically bound primary and/or secondary amino groups and an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyol or polyamine, with the proviso that at least one of diamine, polyol, or polyamine components 18 at least 5% by weight based on the weight of component b). This invention further relates to thermoplastically molding such polyisocyanate polyadducts.
