ABSTRACT Substantially solvent-free and monomer-free, conductive organic polymers and/or organic conductors are moulded, under moisture and oxygen exclusion, at elevated temperature and under a pressure of at least 500 bar to mouldings with a highly lustrous surface which appears metallic. The mouldings are suitable for use as electrical conductors, semi- conductors or photoconductors. A suitable apparatus for producing the mouldings comprises an inert gas-fillable and evacuatable press capsule which is placed between a die and an abutment in a heatable moulding apparatus.
