The present invention re-lates to a process for the production of suspensions of nano- fibrillar cellulose by providing cellulose fibres and at least one filler and/or pigment; combining the cellulose fibres and the at least one filler and/or pigment; and fibrillating the cel-lulose fibres in the presence of at least one filler and/or pigment, as well as the suspensions of nano-fibrillar cellulose obtained by this process and their uses.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé de production de suspensions de cellulose nano-fibrillaire par les opérations consistant à se procurer des fibres de cellulose et au moins une charge et/ou un pigment; combiner les fibres de cellulose et la au moins une charge et/ou pigment; et provoquer la fibrillation des fibres de cellulose en présence d'au moins une charge et/ou pigment. L'invention porte également sur les suspensions de cellulose nano-fibrillaire obtenues par ces procédés et sur leurs utilisations.
