2097613 9209570 PCTABS00013 Partial glyceride sulphates are obtained if: (a) mixtures of triglycerides and glycerine are reacted with gaseous sulphur trioxide; (b) the acid reaction products are subjected to aging at high temperature after sulphonation; and (c) they are then neutralised with aqueous bases in the presence of a buffer.
