In a novel process for the production of parti- cles or powders, a substance or mixture of substances to be treated is provided in a pressure vessel. A compress- ible fluid is dissolved under pressure in the substance or mixture of substances provided, and the resulting solution is then decompressed so that particles form during the decompression. The particles which have formed are removed from the stream of decompressed compressible fluid.

L'invention a pour objet un procédé pour la fabrication de particules ou de poudres, selon lequel on met en place, dans un récipient à pression, une substance ou un mélange de substances à traiter. Un fluide compressible est envoyé sous pression dans la substance ou dans le mélange de substances, de manière à la ou le dissoudre, et la solution obtenue est détendue de façon que des particules se forment au cours de la détente. Les particules formées sont séparées du courant de fluide décomprimé.
