ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to the production of a planographic printing form. A carrier which is coated with a hydrophilic layer composed of a non- light-sensitive compound which on exposure to laser radiation becomes hydro- phobic is imagewise exposed. The form thereby obtained may be used for printing in a planographic printing machine without further treatment.
