The invention relates to a process for the production of a polyamide moulded part from a polyamide composition comprising 0.01-5 wt.% polyamide-4.6 and 99.99-95 wt.% of a polyamide with a melting point that is lower than that of polyamide-4.6. The polyamide composition is obtained by mixing in the melt of a blend of granules of the polyamide with the low melting point (A) and a composition (B) of the polyamide-4.6 in the polyamide with the low melting point, the polyamide-4.6 content of (B) amounting to 2-50 wt.% and B having been obtained at a temperature above the melting point of polyamide-4.6. The polyamide with a low melting point is preferably polyamide-6. The process results in a permanent 15 ~C increase in the crystallisation onset temperature of nylon-6. A 30 % gain in cycle time relative to polyamide-6 nucleated with the aid of microtalc was realised for injection-moulding of relatively large articles.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une pièce moulée de polyamide à partir d'une composition de polyamide comprenant 0,01 à 5 % en poids de polyamide-4.6 et 99,99 à 95 % en poids d'un polyamide possédant un point de fusion inférieur à celui d'un polyamide-4.6. On obtient la composition de polyamide en mélangeant dans le bain une combinaison de granules du polyamide à point de fusion bas (A) et une composition (B) du polyamide-4.6 présente dans le polyamide à point de fusion bas, la teneur en polyamide-4.6 de (B) étant comprise entre 2 et 50 % en poids, et (B) ayant été obtenue à une température supérieure au point de fusion du polyamide-4.6. Le polyamide à point de fusion du est de préférence le polyamide-6. Le procédé entraîne une augmentation permanente de 15 ·C de la température de début de cristallisation du nylon-6. Un gain de 30 % dans le temps de cycle par rapport au polyamide-6 nucléé au moyen de microtalc a été réalisé dans le moulage par injection de certains articles de taille relativement importante.
