ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Soft, flexible polyurethane foam is made by catalysed condensation of a first polyol polyether containing a major proportion of ethylene oxide units, with a polyisocyanate and a second polyol polyether containing no or a minor proportion of ethylene oxide units, in the presence of moisture. The first polyol has a primary hydroxyl content, based on total hydroxyl, of 2-35%. The second polyol is first condensed with the polyisocyanate to a prepolymer of 15-40% free isocyanate content.
