There is disclosed a process for the production of a rubber product, which comprises subjecting an unvulcanized rubber composition blended with a sulfenamide-type vulcanization accelerator to ionizing radiation typically with electron rays and thereby preparing an unvulcanized rubber composition or an unvulcanized rubber molded member of which the rate of vulcanization is adjusted and which is utilized to produce a rubber product which is highly uniform in that it is uniformly vulcanized.
