- 12 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A spherical septic tank has an upper shell with an internal divider defining a closed internal chamber within the shell. The upper shell is formed by molding the divider wall and a preform of one part of the shell on a main mold. A second preform, completing the shell is molded and cured on a separate mold and then mounted on the preformed assembly on the main mold. The assembly is then sprayed to complete the shell. The result is a shell and divider that are integrally formed, avoiding the cracking and separation problems that occur with bonded in dividers.
