PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF URETHANE ELASTOMERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Urethane elastomers are prepared by reacting a long-chain polyol having a molecular weight of 400 - 5000 in a one- step opera- tion with an organic diisocyanate and a halogenated aromatic diamine of the general formula: Image wherein X1, X2, X3 and X4 are the same or different and each represents a halogen atom and n is zero or 1. According to this process, ure- thane elastomers possessing excellent physical characteristics can be produced economically and advantageously.
