The invention relates to a method for purifying (~)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5- en--3-one. To date crystallisation constituted the final purification step in the production of (~)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-one. It is, however, advantageous from both the economic and ecological point of view to carry out purification exclusively by means of extractive measures. The method comprises the steps of extracting an aqueous reaction solution of (~)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-one with an organic solvent, separating a resulting organic phase containing the (~)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-one from a resulting aqueous phase, mixing the resulting organic phase with water, and separating a final aqueous phase containing the (~)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-one from a final organic phase.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'épuration de (+/-)-2-azabicyclo [2.2.1] hept-5-èn-3-one. Jusqu'à présent, la cristallisation représentait l'étape finale d'épuration lors de la production de (+/-)-2-azabicyclo [2.2.1] hept-5-èn-3-one. Il est cependant avantageux sur le plan économique et écologique d'effectuer l'épuration uniquement au moyen de mesures d'extraction.
