A process for reducing the aldehyde concentration in a target stream of a carbonylation process is disclosed. More specifically, a process for reducing the aldehyde concentration in an internal process stream or feed stream of a carbonylation process is disclosed. In particular, a process in which a target stream comprising a carbonylatable reactant and a first aldehyde concentration is subjected to a reaction comprising a supported catalyst that comprises at least one Group 8 to Group 11 metal at conditions sufficient to reduce the first aldehyde concentration to a second aldehyde concentration is disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour réduire la concentration en aldéhyde dans un flux cible d'un procédé de carbonylation. Plus spécifiquement, on propose un procédé pour réduire la concentration en aldéhyde dans un flux de procédé interne ou un flux d'alimentation d'un procédé de carbonylation. En particulier, on propose un procédé dans lequel un flux cible comprenant un réactif pouvant être carbonylé et une première concentration en aldéhyde est soumis à une réaction comprenant un catalyseur supporté qui comprend au moins un métal du groupe 8 au groupe 11 dans des conditions satisfaisantes pour réduire la première concentration en aldéhyde en une seconde concentration en aldéhyde.
