Process for the regeneration of exhausted catalysts, containing one or more calcium aluminates, for steam cracking reactions, comprising treating said exhausted catalysts in a stream of water vapour at a temperature ranging from 700 to 950 ~C, preferably from 720 to 850 ~C, and at a pressure ranging from 0.5 to 2 atm.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant la régénération de catalyseurs épuisés tels que ceux qui, contenant au moins un aluminate de calcium sont destinés au vapocraquage. Le procédé consiste en l'occurrence à traiter ces catalyseurs épuisés dans un courant de vapeur d'eau à une température comprise entre 700 ·C et 950 ·C, de préférence entre 720 ·C et 850 ·C, à une pression comprise entre 0,5 et 2 atmosphères.
