The invention related to a process for the removal of hydrogen sulphide and other sour gas components from industrial gases under pressure by means of physical scrubbing agents and for the recovery of sulphur from hydrogen sulphide using a Claus plant, implementing the steps listed below: .cndot. the hydrogen sulphide and the other sour gas components are absorptively dissolved in a physically acting scrubbing agent; .cndot. the physical scrubbing agent undergoes a multi-step regeneration; .cndot. the multi-step regeneration unit be equipped with one device each for CO enrichment, H2S enrichment, CO2 stripping and thermal regeneration; .cndot. the various regeneration steps operate at pressure levels that differ from each other and are lower than that of the absorption unit; .cndot. a Claus gas rich in hydrogen sulphide is withdrawn from one of the regeneration steps and fed to a Claus plant which produces sulphur; .cndot. the tail gas leaving the Claus plant undergoes hydration and is compressed to a pressure that corresponds to that of a regeneration step, and .cndot. the compressed tail gas is piped to the device for CO enrichment. The device for CO enrichment can be designed as a flash column.
Procédé d'élimination d'hydrogène sulfuré et d'autres constituants gazeux acides de gaz techniques se trouvant sous pression à l'aide d'une substance de lavage physique, et de récupération de soufre à partir d'hydrogène sulfuré à l'aide d'une installation Claus (14). Selon ledit procédé, l'hydrogène sulfuré et les autres constituants gazeux acides sont dissous par absorption (2) dans la substance de lavage physique, la substance de lavage physique est soumise à une régénération (6) en plusieurs étapes, la régénération en plusieurs étapes s'effectue dans au moins un dispositif d'enrichissement en CO (7), un dispositif d'enrichissement en H¿2?S (8), un dispositif de lavage de CO¿2? (9) et un dispositif de régénération thermique (10), les différentes étapes de régénération présentent différents niveaux de pression entre elles et une pression inférieure à celle de l'étape d'absorption (2), un gaz de Claus (13) riche en hydrogène sulfuré est extrait de l'une des étapes de régénération et introduit dans une installation Claus (14) où du soufre est produit, le gaz restant (16) quittant l'installation Claus est hydrogéné (17) et comprimé (19) à une pression correspondant à l'une des étapes de régénération (7, 8, 9, 10), et le gaz restant comprimé (20) est introduit dans le dispositif qui sert à l'enrichissement en CO (7). Le dispositif d'enrichissement en CO (7) peut se présenter sous forme de colonne de détente.
