ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A process for the repair by lining of a tube of a steam generator and a repair lining for such a tube. In the process a lining is introduced into the tube. The lining is swaged in the tube inside the tube plate and expanded diametrically as a result of swaging of its end part located in the tube outside the tube plate. Leak-proofing is ensured by brazing the end part of the lining in the tube. The lining possesses in its zone slots filled with brazing metal and grooves coaxial relative to the lining which make it easier for the brazing metal to spread. The invention applies particularly to the steam generators of pressurised water nuclear reactors.
