Process for the selective preparation of acetic acid The present invention relates to a process for the selective preparation of acetic acid from a gaseous feed comprising ethane, ethylene or mixtures thereof plus oxygen at elevated temperature, which comprises bringing the gaseous feed into contact with a catalyst comprising the elements Mo, Pd, X and Y in gram atom ratios a:b:c:d in combination with oxygen Mo a Pd b X c Y d (I) where the symbols X and Y have the following meanings: X is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of: Cr, Mn, Nb, Ta, Ti, V, Te and/or W, in particular Nb, V and W; Y is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of: B, Al, Ga, In, Pt, Zn, Cd, Bi, Ce, Co, Cu, Rh, Ir, Au, Ag, Fe, Ru, Os, K, Rb, Cs, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zr, Hf, Ni, P, Pb, Sb, Si, Sn, TI and U, in particular Ca, Sb, Te and Li. The present invention further provides a catalyst for the selective preparation of acetic acid comprising the elements Mo, Pd, X and Y in the gram atom ratios a:b:c:d in combination with oxygen.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production sélective d'acide acétique à partir d'une substance d'alimentation gazeuse constituée d'éthane, d'éthylène ou de mélanges de ceux-ci, et d'oxygène à température élevée, procédé selon lequel la substance d'alimentation gazeuse est amenée avec le catalyseur qui contient les éléments Mo, Pd, X et Y, selon les rapports en atomes-grammes a:b:c:d, en combinaison avec de l'oxygène, conformément à la formule (I) MoaPdbXcYd, dans laquelle les symboles X et Y ont la signification suivante: X représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis dans le groupe: Cr, Mn, Nb, Ta, Ti, V, Te et/ou W, en particulier Nb, V et W; Y représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis dans le groupe: B, Al, Ga, In, Pt, Zn, Cd, Bi, Ce, Co, Cu, Rh, Ir, Au, Ag, Fe, Ru, Os, K, Rb, Cs, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Sr, Ba, Zr, Hf, Ni, P, Pb, Sb, Si, Sn, Tl et U, en particulier Ca, Sb, Te et Li. L'invention concerne en outre un catalyseur utilisé pour la production sélective d'acide acétique, lequel contient les éléments Mo, Pd, X et Y selon les rapports en atomes-grammes a:b:c:d, en combinaison avec de l'oxygène. Les indices a, b, c et x représentent le rapport en atomes-grammes des éléments correspondants, et a = 1, b > 0 et d = 0,05-2.
