A b s t r a c t The present invention is related to a new process for the separation of acylated phospholipids, in particular of acylated phosphatidylethanolamine and possibly oils from phosphatidylcholine products containing the same, by chromatography on silicic acid gel in a lower alkanol containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms as solvent and/or eluant yielding into highly purified phosphatidylcholine.
