ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for the stripping of cesium ions from an aqueous solution in which a precipitation agent is added to the aqueous solution and the resulting precipitate, containing the Cs+ ions is stripped from the solution. Sodium or lithium tetraphenyl- borates, carrying electron-attracting substituents on the phenyl rings are employed as precipitation agent.
