This process for the reaction synthesis of 3-mercaptopropionic acid esters by adding H2S to the acrylic acid ester is carried out in the presence of a solid support functionalized by basic functional guanidine groups, provided they are exempt of hydrogen directly bonded to a nitrogen atom. The use of this functionalized solid support makes it possible to improve the selectivity of the 3-mercaptopropionic acid ester reaction while keeping a very high conversion rate.

Ce procédé de synthèse d'esters de l'acide mercapto-3 propionique par réaction d'addition de H2S à l'ester correspont de l'acide acrylique est effectué en présence d'un support solide fonctionnalisé par des groupes fonctionnels basiques guanidine, à la condition que ceux-ci soient dépourvus d'hydrogène directement lié à un atome d'azote. L'usage de ce support solide fonctionnalisée permet d'améliorer la sélectivité de la réaction en ester de l'acide mercapto-3- propionique tout en gardant un taux de conversion très élevé.
