PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'arylsulfonylalkylamide dans lequel on met en contact un arylsulfohalogénure avec un excès d'alkylamine et une solution aqueuse d'agent alcalin en excès par rapport à l'arylsulfohalogénure, on élimine l'eau et l'amine en excès de la phase organique et on sépare l'arylsulfonylalkylamide. Ce procédé convient particulièrement pour la synthèse du N.n-butylbenzène sulfonamide qu'on obtient dans une qualité thermiquement stable et qu'on peut utiliser avantageusement comme plastifiant des polyamides.
