The invention relates to a process for the transmission of signaling and control information for wavelength-division multiplex networks (1) for optical, fiber- bound information transfer in digitized form, the signaling and control information being transmitted via the same optical channel, particularly with the same wavelength, as the user information, but being coded and decoded independently thereof, with the result that the control and signaling information can also be accessed independently of the user information. The use of a time-division multiplex process allowing the different coding of user information and control information makes it possible considerably to reduce the technical complexity of passive optical network elements with regard to the routing of the signaling and control information. The process according to the invention permits the simple, low-cost and transparent transmission of signaling and control information in optical WDM networks.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour le transfert d'informations de signalisation et de commande pour réseaux à multiplexage en longueur d'onde (1) destinés au transfert d'informations optique par fibres, sous forme numérisées. L'information de signalisation et de commande est transmise sur le même canal optique et en particulier à la même longueur d'onde que l'information utile, mais elle est toutefois codée et décodée indépendamment de celle-ci, de sorte qu'il soit possible d'accèder, également indépendamment de l'information utile, à l'information de commande et de signalisation. Grâce à la mise en oeuvre d'un procédé de multiplexage dans le temps permettant un codage différent de l'information utile et de l'information de commande, il est possible de réduire considérablement la complexité technique d'éléments de réseaux optiques passifs, en ce qui concerne la transmission de l'information de signalisation et de commande. Le procédé selon l'invention permet une transmission simple, bon marché et transparente d'informations de signalisation et de commande dans un réseau optique à multiplexage en longueur d'onde.
