L'invention concerne un procédé de vaporisation d'une solution d'hydrate d'hydrazine selon lequel ladite solution d'hydrate d'hydrazine contacte un matériau constituant une surface de transfert de l'énergie de vaporisation, caractérisé en ce que ledit matériau constituant une surface de transfert de l'énergie de vaporisation est en titane ou en oxyde de chrome. L'invention est particulièrement utile pour le rebouilleur d'une colonne dans laquelle s'effectue l'hydrolyse d'une azine R1R2C=N-N=CR1R2 (dans laquelle R1 et R2 sont des alkyls ayant jusqu'à 12 atomes de carbone) avec récupération d'hydrate d'hydrazine en pied et de cétone R1R2C=0 en tête.
