Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a process for thermally stabilis- ing and improving the dimensional stability of soft gelatin capsules containing the pharmaceutical active principle in the shell, characterized in that the capsules are provided with a film coating of a film-forming polymer which is sol- uble or swellable in water and soluble in solvent. The properties of soft gelatin capsules are improved whilst the other advantageous properties are maintained. The coat- ed gelatin capsules are, e.g., temperature-resistent and less sensitive to moisture and they do not stick together in storage containers even after prolonged storage. - 1 -
