PROCÉDÉ POUR LE TRAITEMENT D'UN MÉLANGE DE VAPEURS D'EAU ET D'AIR POLLUÉ PAR DES GAZ SULFURÉS, FORMÉ LORS DE LA GRANULATION ET DE LA DESHYDRATATION DU LAITIER DE HAUT FOURNEAU ABREGE Procédé dans lequel on canalise d'abord un mélange de vapeurs d'eau et d'air pollué dans un flux ascendant (19) et qu'ensuite le mélange s'écoule en un flux descendant (23) dans une enceinte (34) maintenue en dépression. Une solution aqueuse alcaline est pulvérisée en un écoulement parallèle dans ledit flux descendant et les gaz non condensés dépollués sont évacués de l'enceinte par un courant force et réglable qui crée et maintient une dépression à l'intérieur de ladite enceinte. La présente invention décrit aussi un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé.
