ABSTRACT The invention relates to a process for treating at least two materials which are secured together by an adhesive agent. Once such materials have served their purpose they are dumped or burned. The proposal is for a process by means of which one reduces the need for dumping and avoids the problems of incineration. This is achieved in that the adhesive is dissolved by a solvent which does not dissolve the materials themselves so that the adhesively secured materials can be separated and recycled on their own.
