A delayed coking process in which a flash zone gas oil stream from the bottom of the coker fractionator (18) is upgraded by removing suspended solids using filter (30) and then hydroprocessing the stream to make it more attractive as a feed to a fluidized bed catalytic cracking unit or other processing unit. Removal of the solids using filter (30) allows the stream to be processed in a fixed bed catalytic hydrotreater (32) without plugging of the catalyst bed.
L'invention concerne un procédé de cokéfaction différée dans lequel le gasoil de la zone de flash du bas du système de fractionnement (18) d'une installation de cokéfaction est amélioré en le débarrassant des matières solides en suspension en utilisant un filtre (30) et ensuite en effectuant un hydrotraitement du gasoil, pour le rendre plus attrayant en tant que matière première pour une unité de cracking catalytique à lit fluidisé ou pour d'autres transformations. L'élimination des matières solides en utilisant le filtre (30) permet de traiter le produit dans une installation d'hydrotraitement (32) à lit catalytique fixe sans colmater le lit du catalyseur.
