An electrophotographic marking machine and associated marking engine control configured to permit a process isolation in the electrophotographic process. The process isolation allows a controlled termination of the electrophotographic process at any point under control of the marking engine controller. The controlled termination is done to preclude the influence of an emergency or hard stop.

L'invention concerne une machine de marquage électrophotographique et une unité de commande de moteur de marquage associée, configurée pour assurer un isolement de processus dans le procédé électrophotographique. L'isolement de processus permet d'interrompre de manière commandée le procédé électrophotographique à n'importe quel point commandé par l'organe de commande du moteur de marquage.
