A process is proposed for laying and mechanically jointing floorboards which have, on one longitudinal side and one transverse side, a tongue, and on an opposite longitudinal side and an opposite transverse side, a groove matching the tongue, whereby boards inserted into one another engage horizontally. The process comprises: (a) jointing a plurality of boards by engaging the transverse and the opposite transverse sides of the plurality of boards to lay a first row on a floor of a room; (b) jointing a first board of a second row by engaging the first board of the second row with one or two boards in the first row using the tongue on the longitudinal side of the first board of the second row and the groove on the opposite longitudinal side of the one or two boards in the first row; (c) pushing a tongue on the transverse side of a second board in the second row into a groove on an opposite transverse side of the first board in the second row in a direction of the first row; and (d) engaging the second board of the second row with one or two boards of the first row using a tongue on the longitudinal side of the second board in the second row and a groove on the opposite longitudinal side of the one or two boards in the first row.
On propose un processus de mise en place et de jointoiement mécanique de planchers qui comportent, sur un côté longitudinal et un côté transversal, une languette, et sur un côté longitudinal opposé et un côté transversal opposé, une rainure correspondant à la languette, les panneaux insérés l'un dans l'autre venant en prise horizontalement. Le processus consiste à : (a) assembler une pluralité de panneaux tranversaux par engagement du côté transversal et du côté transveral opposé de la pluralité de panneaux pour mettre en place une première rangée sur un plancher d'une pièce; (b) assembler un premier panneau d'une deuxième rangée par engagement du premier panneau de la deuxième rangée avec un ou deux panneaux dans la première rangée à l'aide de la languette sur le côté longitudinal du premier panneau de la deuxième rangée et la rainure sur le côté longitudinal opposé d'un ou de deux panneaux dans la première rangée; (c) pousser une languette sur le côté transversal d'un deuxième panneau dans la deuxième rangée dans une rainure sur un côté transversal opposé du premier panneau dans la deuxième rangée dans le sens de la première rangée; et (d) mettre le deuxième panneau de la deuxième rangée en prise avec un ou deux panneaux de la première rangée à l'aide d'une languette sur le côté longitudinal du deuxième panneau dans la deuxième rangée et une rainure sur le côté longitudinal opposé d'un ou de deux panneaux dans la première rangée.
