The present invention provides a process for recycling waste polymeric material comprising a mixture of waste polymeric material wherein the waste polymeric material includes from about 15 to 50 percent aliphatic polyamide material; granulating the chopped mixture into fragments at least about 100 times smaller than the size of the waste polymeric material; and extruding the ground mixture at a temperature of less than about the Tg of the lowest melting waste aliphatic polyamide polymeric material.

L'invention concerne un processus pour recycler des rebuts de matériaux polymères comprenant un mélange de rebuts de matériaux polymères qui comporte environ de 15 à 50 % de matériaux polyamides aliphatiques. Le mélange haché est réduit en fragments au moins environ 100 fois plus petits que les rebuts de matériaux polymères originaux.
