PROCESS TO MEASURE THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE ANODE CURRENTS IN CELLS FOR ALKALI METAL CHLORIDE ELECTROLYSIS Abstract of the disclosure: For the indirect measurement of the distribution of the anode currents in electrolytic cells operated with alkali metal chlo- ride according to the amalgam process the cell voltage is de- termined with the exclusion of potential displacement in the range of the electrolytic cell. An exclusion of potential dis- placements is obtained by the fact that there are no ohmic con- nections between the current-carrying elements and the other electrically conductive elements of the electrolytic cell.
