PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé pour retarder la formation et/ou réduire la tendance à l'agglomération des hydrates, à l'intérieur d'un fluide comportant une eau et un gaz, dans des conditions où un hydrate peut se former, les hydrates étant formés à partir d'eau et de gaz, caractérisé en ce que l'on incorpore audit fluide un additif comprenant au moins un composé amphiphile non-ionique. Ce procédé permet d'éviter les inconvénients économiques liés à l'utilisation des inhibiteurs ou moyens d'isolation de l'art antérieur pour arriver à la même fin.
