A process for preparing compost by inoculating an organic waste with a spawn for aerobic compost, characterized in that oxygen is supplied while agitating the waste and, in addition, water is supplied so that the water content of the waste becomes 60 ~ 5 %; another process for preparing compost by inoculating an organic waste with a spawn for aerobic compost, characterized in that, after the initiation of fermentation and before the migration of main fermentation to an amine-ammonia metabolic system, a saccharide is added by portions to the waste; and an apparatus for preparing compost having: a fermentation tank provided with oxygen supply means, water spray means, and agitation means; and means for detecting or judging the water content of an organic waste within the fermentation tank and controlling the amount of water sprayed by the water spray means based on the results of the detection or judgement. In preparing compost having good quality by treating an organic waste discharged from a food processing plant and the like, the generation of ammonia and amines causative of emission of offensive odor and the formation of lower fatty acids as a growth inhibitor of plants can be inhibited and the compost can be stably prepared in a short period of time.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé de préparation de compost consistant à inoculer du frai à des déchets organiques en vue de l'obtention de compost aérobie, qui se caractérise en ce que l'alimentation en oxygène est effectuée simultanément à l'agitation des déchets et en ce que l'alimentation en eau est telle que la teneur en eau des déchets est égale à 60 +/-5 %. L'invention se rapporte également à un autre procédé de préparation de compost consistant à inoculer du frai à des déchets organiques en vue de l'obtention de compost aérobie, qui se caractérise en ce que, après le démarrage de la fermentation et avant la migration de la fermentation principale vers un système métabolique amines-ammoniac, on ajoute par morceaux un saccharide aux déchets. L'invention se rapporte également à un dispositif conçu pour la préparation du compost et comportant: une cuve de fermentation pourvu d'une unité d'alimentation en oxygène, d'un pulvérisateur d'eau et d'un agitateur, ainsi qu'une unité permettant de détecter ou d'évaluer la teneur en eau de déchets organiques au sein de la cuve de fermentation, et de réguler la quantité d'eau pulvérisée par le pulvérisateur en fonction des résultats de la détection ou de l'évaluation. La préparation d'un compost de bonne qualité à partir de déchets organiques provenant d'une entreprise de transformation des produits alimentaires permet d'empêcher la production d'ammoniac et d'amines responsables de l'émission d'odeurs incommodantes ainsi que la formation d'acides gras inférieurs, inhibiteurs de la croissance végétale, et de plus, la préparation de ce compost se fait de manière stable sur une courte période de temps.
