2073029 9204778 PCTABS00011 The entry of keyboard functions like addition or enter commands which have to be entered repeatedly is automated in that, by the single operation of a single key of the input keyboard alternatively in the first instance the character for this key or in the second the character of this key and then the character or function of any other key is entered in electronic processing. There are two methods of differentiating between the two instances. In the first it is established whether a pressure point and in the second whether a time interval has been exceeded or not reached. The keyboard is divided into two parts. The character (or function) of a key in part 1 can be temporarily stored -- e.g. by pressing it harder or for longer -- and then, by the longer or harder depression of a key in part 2 additionally after the character of part 2, is automatically entered.
