Compounds (II) are prepared by ring closure of compounds (IV), which are obtained by acylation of the corresponding amino compounds (IV). Coumpounds (II) can be reduced to the amino-benzazepinones (IA), which can be separated in the optical isomers (I) via the diastereoisomeric dibenzoyl-tartarates. The optical isomers (I) are useful in the preparation of ureido CCK-antagonists.

On prépare des composés (II) par fermeture de cycles de composés (IV) qui sont obtenus par acylation des composés amino (IV) correspondants. Les composés (II) peuvent être réduits aux amino-benzazépinones (IA) qui peuvent être séparées en isomères optiques (I) par l'intermédiaire de dibenzoyl-tartarates diastéréo-isomères. Ces isomères optiques (I) servent à préparer des antagonistes d'uréido-CCK (cholécystokinine).
