Processes of manufacturing polymeric microspheres facilitate the generation of polymeric microspheres of size ranges smaller than 600 microns diameter by forming beads of a predetermined size from a starting material which may include a template polymer, and subsequently contacting the beads with a structural polymer. After crosslinking of the structural polymer has taken place, the template polymer may be removed to form the finished microspheres.

L'invention concerne des procédés de fabrication de microsphères polymères facilitant la production de microsphères polymères dont les dimensions sont comprises dans des gammes inférieures à un diamètre de 600 microns, par formation de billes de dimensions prédéterminées à partir d'un matériau de départ pouvant comprendre un polymère modèle et puis par mise en contact des billes avec un polymère structurel. Après la réticulation du polymère structurel, le polymère modèle peut être retiré, aux fins de formation des microsphères finies.
