A process for producing reduced coenzyme Q10 which comprises obtaining microbial cells containing reduced coenzyme Q10 in an amount of at least 70 % by mol based on the total coenzymes Q10, disrupting the cells if needed, and then collecting the reduced coenzyme Q10 thus produced. A process for producing oxidized coenzyme Q10 which comprises oxidizing the microbial cells or the suspension of the disrupted cells as described above and then collecting the oxidized coenzyme Q10 thus formed, or collecting the reduced coenzyme Q10 from the microbial cells or the suspension of the disrupted cells as described above and then oxidizing the same. According to these processes, reduced coenzyme Q10 and oxidized coenzyme Q10 can be conveniently produced on an industrial scale.

Les procédés de l'invention permettent ainsi de produire facilement à échelle industrielle la co-enzyme Q¿10? réduite ainsi que la co-enzyme Q¿10? oxydée.
