Processes for reducing the appearance of ashiness or pastiness on skin by applying thereto a cosmetic composition comprising transparent iron oxide particles, iron-containing titanium dioxide particles, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier. These processes are useful to provide coverage of skin imperfections and/or skin tonal variations and/or skin discoloration surrounding the eyes on different types of skin, while, at the same time, retaining a natural skin appearance.

La présente invention concerne des procédés pour réduire laspect terne ou pâle de la peau en appliquant sur celle-ci une composition cosmétique comprenant des particules doxyde de fer transparentes, des particules de dioxyde de titane contenant du fer, et un véhicule acceptable en cosmétique. Ces procédés permettent le recouvrement dimperfections de la peau et/ou des variations de ton de la peau et/ou de la décoloration de la peau autour des yeux sur différents types de peau, tout en conservant un aspect naturel de la peau.
