A plurality of digitized images are replayable as a video clip. A primary image portion is identified in a first frame and this image portion is tracked on a frame-by-frame basis. A frame is identified where the tracked portion ceases to be trackable and at this frame a secondary image portion is identified for tracking. An off-set vector is identified relating the secondary image portion to the first image portion. While tracking the secondary image portion the notional image of the first image portion is effectively calculated with reference to the off-set.
